Our Families.
We serve the community of Marion, Iowa. We have identified three neighborhoods in our community as Marion Cares Neighborhoods, or MCN for short. We have concentrated our efforts in these areas of higher needs through providing specialized programs and fostering relationships. This includes weekly crock-pot meals, family-focused kits, after-school kid’s program, and special events.
Trunk-or-Treat
Trunk or treat is where we provide Winter clothing essentials to our Marion Cares Neighborhood families in need. Items are purchased specifically for that child and they are guaranteed to receive these items at the event. Smaller items such as hats, gloves, scarves, underwear, socks, blankets and other personal items are collected from the community to be handed out in other trunks.
* Please note due to limited resources we are only able to serve families living in Squaw Creek Village and Marion Village at this time.
Crock-Pot Meals
We serve the community of Marion, Iowa. We provide crock-pots, crock-pot meals and freezer meals weekly to our Marion Cares Families. Volunteers provide the meals and deliver them to our families.
