Back To School Bash and Resource Festival

The Back to School Bash & Resource Fair is a community event designed to ensure every child begins the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to succeed. Each year, Marion Cares brings together local businesses, churches, schools, and volunteers to serve families facing financial challenges. By removing barriers to learning, we help students start the year ready to thrive.

Each student receives: A backpack with grade-specific supplies, free haircuts to boost confidence, a free family meal, a Resource Fair connecting families with local support services. Financial need is the only requirement for participation for Linn-Mar Students.
